WHAT ALL GOES IN TO MIXING?

Every song may require a slightly different approach, however basic eq, compression and panning are the staples I begin with. Every instrument and vocal should have the proper room to breathe and be heard clearly in the mix. Additional processes can include:

  • Cleaning the vocal (breaths, pops, noise and harsh sibilance)
  • Cleaning the instruments and making them pop!
  • Balancing vocals and instruments
  • Tuning the vocal (light or heavy depending on song style)
  • Adding FX (reverb, saturation, delay, distortion, chorus etc..)
  • Drum or Instrument replacement

Main software and plugins used:
STUDIO ONE (DAW)
A LOT OF WAVES PLUGINS (MIXING)
IZOTOPE (MASTERING)

    FAQS

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN MIXING AND MASTERING?
Mixing is the process of taking the individual tracks of a song, adjusting the levels, adding effects, and creating the balance of each instrument and voice. Mastering is the final process when preparing a song for release. Think of it as the icing on the cake. A mastering engineer will take the stereo mix (as a single file) and give it the proper volume, compression, and equalization to compete with popular music released today.

HOW DO I PREPARE MY SONG FOR MIXING?
Great question! New video will be added soon to show you step by step.

WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?
We use Stripe and Cash App as a payments processor, however you don’t need a Cash App account to check out.  We accept all major credit and debit cards.

    WHAT ARE YOUR PRICES?
$200 per mix (Under 39 Stems)
    $45 per master
